BRCVPA'S 2024-2025 Grandparents Day Event is now Groovin with Grandparents! Bring your Grandparents or next best thing and come dance the night away with your friends. We promise to play oldies, new stuff, and plenty of in-between to get people of all ages on the dance floor!

Snacks and light concessions will be served (cash only). We will also have a photo booth set up and will be selling printed 5 x 7 photo memories for $10.00 each.

We know this is quite a change from BINGO, but we know it will be a blast. Call your grandparents today and beg them to say Y E S to an evening of fun for all ages.

BRCVPA will be hosting tours on Tuesday and Thursday, September 24th and 26th from 9:00 - 1:00. You do not need to register, just show up to see Arts Integration in action! Due to inclement weather forecasts and in the interest of safety for our students and staff, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System has made the decision to cancel classes districtwide on Wednesday, Sept. 11, through Thursday, Sept. 12.

The safety and well-being of our students, employees and their families remain our top priorities, and we believe that this measure is necessary given the predicted severe weather conditions. We encourage all families to take precautionary measures and to stay informed through reliable weather updates.
Please note that all after-school activities and events scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday week will also be canceled. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
The district will adhere to normal dismissal procedures on Tuesday, all after-school activities are canceled for Tuesday afternoon (THIS INCLUDES BRCVPA EXTENDED DAY).

District staff will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed. School will resume as usual on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, unless otherwise communicated.

Beginning this Friday, September 6th BRCVPA will start Frozen Treat Fridays on select dates! Students can pay $2.00 for a frozen treat after lunch. This can be pre-paid, or students can pay the day of the event. Please send money to school in an envelope or ziploc bag with your child's name and "Frozen Treat Friday."
