We are so grateful to our students, teachers, and families for the tremendous hard work and support all year long, and we look forward to more years of growth! Our new motto is "101: Get the Job Done!" We have set an ambitious goal, and we look forward to rising to the challenge. HUGE SHOUTOUT AND CONGRATULATIONS TO BECKETT!!! Our phenomenal 4th grade students took a moment to stop and smell the satsumas in Ms. Adkinson's art class last week!
Students were able to combine science and visual art when studying the physical properties of the satsumas given to them by the amazing BRCVPA cafeteria staff, (led by Mrs. Bridget Moore) via the "Seeds to Success" program. Once students identified the physical properties of their satsumas, they began sculpting their own clay models of this tangy favorite! They compared both scale and form of their sculptures with the real fruit, followed by using their paintbrush handles to create the peel-like texture in the clay to bring it to life. Students will soon be able to paint their satsumas using the colors observed on their still-life models, leaving them with a sweet reminder of how much we all grow and change along the way.
We want to thank each and every person who serves in the US armed forces for their gallantry and bravery. We love and support our Veterans!
Make sure to tune in to our premiere of The Very First Chicken, our first grade mini production for the 2023-2024 school year. Live Stream it on our YouTube channel at 9:30 am! Over the course of 10 weeks, the girls have learned to love themselves from the inside out. Their confidence comes from nurturing and honoring self, embracing differences, and giving back to the community. The result - Joyful, Healthy, Confident girls who CAN!
