Back to School Buzz: Getting Ready for a Smooth Start!

The sound of pencils sharpening and backpacks zipping shut is just around the corner! As the new school year approaches, we at BRCVPA want to make sure everyone is prepared for a fantastic year of learning and growth.

Here's a quick rundown of some key things to know:

• Mark Your Calendars! Our "Meet the Teacher" night is happening on August 6th. This is a great opportunity for students and families to meet their teachers, get a feel for the classroom, and get many of your questions answered.
  • PreK-2: 2-3:15
  • 3rd-5th: 3:30-5:30
• Gear Up! Don't forget to order your spirit shirts! Any shirts ordered by August 5th will be in your child's classroom during Meet the Teacher night. Show your school pride and grab yours HERE.
• Be in the Know: The Parent and Student Handbook is a valuable resource that outlines school policies, procedures, and expectations. We highly recommend taking some time to read through it with your child. You can find it online: 2024-2025 Handbook
• Stay Connected: We have a fantastic Parent Resource Page on our website Parent Resource Page, filled with helpful information, upcoming events, and ways to get involved at school. 
• New this year, BRCVPA is charging a one-time instructional fee due by Labor Day. The purpose of this fee is to minimize the frequency and the amount of money we request from parents. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM. If you do not know your child’s Student ID #, you can just enter all zeroes.
