This year we decided to take a school field trip to see Annie at the Saenger in New Orleans....AND IT WAS AMAZING! While the planning was quite the undertaking, it was worth it once everything fell into place. We lined up several school buses, separated out the kiddos among chaperones and parents, loaded up, and took the ride down to New Orleans. The show itself was wonderful and such an opportunity for our students to see a full broadway style show right here in our home state. Check out some of the pictures taken and memories made. Yay! We made it to the halfway mark! Have a great weekend and come back on Monday ready to take on Science and Social Studies. Remember:
 We are so impressed with our Kindergarteners and their production of Gerald Can't Dance! This show was based on the book "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae. The students and their arts' teachers worked so incredibly hard to put on the best show, and we can't help but brag on them. Take a look at some of the class pics and rewatch the show below! DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? This past Spring Break, twenty of our amazing BRCVPA superstars traveled to Walt Disney World resort to participate in an Imagination Campus workshop titled "BROADWAY MAGIC!" During the workshop, students worked with an industry professional, known as a Disney Teaching Artist, to learn, audition, rehearse, and perform a scene from the Disney Broadway Musical "Frozen." The students also got to explore the parks and have so much fun with friends, teachers, and family. Take a look at the memories made and the final performance of "Colder by the Minute." A Note from PTO: BRCVPA parents, we need more help to be able to stock our teacher's lounge for the last time this year. We will Load the Lounge right before LEAP testing, and we know that this time can be difficult for both teachers and students. Let's help give our teachers their favorite snacks for that week. We need the help of ALL our parents across all grades to reach out goal, since PreK classes have so many less students in them. Thanks for all you do.  Before spring break we had the Spring Arts Showcase at school! Student Makers were able to sell their handmade wares. Dancers were able to show off their moves! And all the artists had their work on display. We are super proud of all of our students. |
